Orders, Acceptance, and Contract Formation
Placing an Order
To place an order for products from the Site, you must follow the instructions provided on the Site and complete the checkout process.
Order Acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy the product(s) in your order. All orders are subject to acceptance by us. We will confirm our acceptance to you by sending an email that confirms the products have been dispatched (the 'Dispatch Confirmation'). The contract between us will only be formed when we send you the Dispatch Confirmation.
Refusal of Order
We reserve the right to refuse any order placed by you, including, without limitation, for reasons of product availability, pricing errors, or suspicion of fraudulent activity. If we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you of this and will not charge you for the product.
Price
The price of the products will be the price quoted on the Site at the time you submit your order. We take all reasonable care to ensure that the price of the products advised to you is correct. We may revise and update prices at any time and at our sole discretion.
Taxes, VAT and Customs Charges
All prices displayed include VAT (where applicable) at the current rate chargeable in the UK. The final price, including all shipping and handling charges, will be displayed before you confirm your purchase.
When ordering goods for delivery outside of the UK you may be subject to import duties and taxes. Payment

Delivery, Title, and Risk

Risk and Title
Risk of damage or loss of the Products shall pass to you on delivery or, if you fail to take delivery of the Products, at the time when we have tried to deliver the Products.

Digital Content Exclusions
For the sale of digital content (e.g., e-books or downloads):
You agree that the digital content is available for immediate download/access.
You lose your right to cancel once the performance of the contract has begun (i.e., you begin the download or streaming process), provided you have given your express consent to this at the time of purchase and acknowledged that you would lose your right to cancel.
Intellectual Property Rights (IP)

All content on the Site, including all books and publications, text, graphics, logos, images, software, and the compilation of such content, is the property of Pelagic Publishing, its affiliates, or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and make personal, non-commercial use of the Site and the content solely for the purpose of shopping for products or obtaining information.

The Authorised User agrees that the entire liability of Pelagic Publishing to the Authorised User arising out of any kind of legal claim (whether in contract, tort, by statute or otherwise) in any way connected with the use or inability to use the Products(s) shall be the refund of any sums actually received by Pelagic Publishing under this contract for the affected Products(s).

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
