Derek Gow
Derek Gow has been involved in mammal conservation projects since the early 1990’s. He specialises in water vole ecology and has over 10 years experience of mitigating, translocating and captive breeding water voles. He has worked on the release of thousands of captive bred water voles at sites across the UK. Derek is the principal ecologist at the Derek Gow Consultancy. He is a key enthusiast and working group member for the reintroduction of the European beaver.
